For Normal BP, Don't ignore these things

 

As per some surveys, one out of every three individuals in India is suffering from high blood pressure. Nearly 60 percent don’t know that they are sufferers. One of the underlying conclusions of the survey reflected that lack of awareness has led to the growth of the ailment. But with some precautions, you can hypertension

1. Focus on your diet – your diet is very important if BP is troubling you. One should try and distance himself from fried edibles and ghee.

2. Reduce salt intake – if you are taking medications to control your BP, it does not mean that you should free yourselves. Reduce intake of salt as much as possible.

3. Yoga with some precautions – don’t imitate “asans” which increase the pressure on your heart. “mayurasan” and “sheershasan” should not be practiced and while others, make sure to lower the pace.

4. Exercise – make exercises a part of your life. Regular morning walks alongside Brisk Walk, Cycling, Swimming and aerobics can be looked upon.

5. Stay away from smoking and alcohol – in hypertension, your arteries shrink as you smoke. It causes complications in blood vessels. Alcohol is harmful too.

6. Don’t Pause your medicines on your own will – often medicines are lifelong partners for patients of BP. However, with some changes in lifestyle, these medications could be reduced or even stopped, but only a doctor can have a say on dosage of medications.

7. Avoid polytherapy – avoid having various therapies all at once. Often people rely on allopathic medications and Ayurveda at the same time. This may cause any significant har, but it gets difficult to track the efficacy of the ailments.

8. Stay away from 7 s – salt, sugar, stress, sedentary, smoking, spirit (alcohol) should be prohibited in your life.

9. Change your thoughts – it is not right to mind small problems in life. Try and keep stress away form you and stay as happy as you can.

10. Focus on monitoring –check your BP timely. It is better to make this your habit. Start this in the teen ages.
