1. Poor nutrition – Immune System weakens if our diet lacks proper amount of nutrition. It affects the children and their immunity. This dearth may bring Rheumatoid Arthritis and its aftermaths like joint pain and swelling.
2. Injury – Arthritis often comes with an injury. Tissue break at site of injury or inactivation of the muscles may cause pain in the joints.
3. Infection – Not only the infection in joints, but infection in any other part of the body may cause the disease. Typhoid can, for an instance, cause arthritis after a few days.
4. Poor metabolism – Poor digestion or metabolism can increase the production of uric acid in our body. This acid forms crystals which cause pain when they go closer to our joints.
5. Germ in our body – Germs and microorganisms in our body cause joint pain and often lead to arthritis. They generally affect the intestines but can also cause arthritis.
6. Reduction in physical activity – Curtailing physical activities often shape way for pain. For instance, if any sporting professional stops practising suddenly, he or she may feel joint pain.
7. Ailments related to blood –Any disease affecting the blood may cause arthritis. Leukaemia and Anaemia are some examples.
8. Genetic diseases – It is important to consider your family history in the disease. Often ailment in parents may cause complications in children. However, this is not a compulsion.
9. Smoking and drinking –People think that smoking affects lungs and alcohol has implications limited to liver. However, arthritis is also result of these habits.
10. Female Hormones – Reduction in secretion of estrogen in females may cause arthritis.
